2012 Post-Election Results
We want to thank the members of the Global Solutions Action Network and the volunteers who comprise the Global Solutions Political Action Committee. Together we endorsed and contributed to candidates, who share our values, were engaged in competitive races, will champion Global Solutions policy goals on the Hill, and who will lead important committees in Congress. Here are the results of the 2012 Election:

Here's what some of our winners had to say:
"Thank you to the Global Solutions community, especially those from Ohio, for your support of my reelection. You have been there since my first campaign for a House seat. From climate change to human rights to nuclear non-proliferation, Global Solutions has focused on the critical challenges that cannot be ignored. I look forward to continuing to work together for a more cooperative and responsible US role in the world."
---- Sherrod Brown, Senator of Ohio
"Global Solutions has focused on the critical challenges that can no longer be ignored. Thank you to the Global Solutions community, for your support of my election to the U.S. Senate. I look forward to working together for a more cooperative and responsible US role in the world."
---- Martin Heinrich, Senator-elect of New Mexico
"Thank you to the generous Global Solutions members from across the country who invested in my campaign for Congress. About Global Solutions PAC
Citizens for Global Solutions Political Action Committee (Global Solutions PAC) works to elect federal candidates who support building effective democratic global institutions that will apply the rule of law while respecting the diversity and autonomy of national and local communities.
Global Solutions PAC raises funds for candidates who share these goals, who are engaged in competitive races, who champion Citizens for Global Solutions policy goals on the Hill, and who lead important committees in Congress.
Global Solutions PAC is not affiliated with any political party and only accepts contributions from Citizens for Global Solutions members. Global Solutions PAC committee members, who make decisions on endorsements and contributions, are volunteers elected by Citizens for Global Solutions’ Board of Directors who represent global citizens from all regions of our nations. In the 2010 election cycle, Global Solutions PAC distributed approximately $50,000 to candidates.
Our Congressional Report Card
Citizens for Global Solutions publishes the Congressional Report Card allowing you to see how your Senators and Representatives voted on legislation that affects the United Nations, the proliferation of nuclear weapons, the global environment, global health, and other international issues and institutions.
You can identify your elected officials, and get information on their voting record on international issues, by selecting your state.
Our Congressional Candidate Questionnaire
The CGS Candidate Questionnaire (CQ) is a valuable tool for learning what positions Congressional candidates take on issues ranging from peacekeeping and genocide prevention to nuclear nonproliferation. The questionnaire responses are used by the Global Solutions PAC committee to evaluate candidates for endorsement and/or a campaign contribution.
From the CEO...

"I cannot tell you how amazing it is to give a candidate a contribution because of their work on international issues. They never get money because of what they do globally. They don't realize that their constituents care about these issues. I can tell you that we get their attention.”
~ Don Kraus, CEO
